Continuing in the proud tradition and experience of aerial photography initiated by Nigel Tod back in the 1970’s, South Pacific Aerials – now under new ownership, is well established as the leading aerial construction photography provider for the Brisbane and coastal Queensland region.

For nearly half a century, South Pacific Aerials has consistently evolved alongside the remarkable changes in technology. Everything from the aircraft through to the chip-sizes on digital cameras has created new obstacles and amazing new opportunities in the field of aerial photography.

South Pacific Aerials, determined to remain an industry leader, has consistently tested and upgraded to new equipment and techniques when they have proven stable and trustworthy. There is far more that goes into capturing quality aerial photos than taking a camera for a ride in the sky.

That is why South Pacific Aerials employs high-grade camera and image stabilization equipment, state-of-the-art image processing, and contracts only the best pilots and aircraft for our work. We aren’t brand loyal or toy-junkies either. Whatever bit of gear will get us the finished product you’re after is what we’ll use.

While the lofty angles and shots could easily serve as inspiring motivational posters, it is also remarkable how much detailed information can be presented from the unique perspective of an aerial photograph. Even with site visits and progress reports, the ‘big picture’ of a project sometimes actually needs to be a BIG PICTURE.
